I've heard your opinions on the MC!
I just wanted to let you all know that I understand the feelings for MC are very divided. Half of you love that she’s bold and not “naive” and innocent and the other really wants a more shy and submissive mc.
I cannot go back and change Arc 1 part 1-2, because it would simply be too much work. HOWEVER, please know that from part 3 on, MC will have the option to be more shy and gentle with her personality.
I, myself, am very shy and submissive and would NEVER do any of the things MC does! But her strong personality helped moved the story forward as tension can really only be created through competing forces. But, like I said, I will do all that I can to create a more malleable MC to better suit you all.
She’ll still have the option of being bold and strong-willed! But for more introverted players, she’ll be much softer if you desire, more timid and gentle.
I’d also like to mention that so far, we’ve only seen the femdom aspect of the game, but there are many scenes that involve aggressive maledom from Jayce, as well as romantic and soft dom Jayce.
Hopefully, everyone will get what they’d like from this story. I really don’t want anyone to feel alienated and I’m so grateful for all the love and support!
Thank you all so very very much!

To the complainers from a fan:
Trying to change the direction and vision of someone's creative work to fit your tastes is super selfish.
Enjoy the game for what it is, and don't pressure the creator to change it!
If you want a 2 Dimensional, passive Mary Sue then play the plethora of otome games that already cater to that or create your own game!
Reading stories of other creators getting harassed to the point where they stop creating is awful.(Homicipher)
And I don't want that to happen to P1NK-ANG3L !
I and many others want to see what P1NK-ANG3L has in store!
Honestly as someone who thinks the MC is fine as she is, I don't think the "complainers" should be labelled as selfish simply because they were expressing their opinions and suggestions (unless they were being rude). Liking a more submissive MC does not mean that they only ever like passive Mary Sue characters. These opinions would help the game and P1NK-ANG3L grow!
And as the creator it is completely fine if she decides that she wants the MC to stay the same, because it is her game and she has the right to decide how she wants the game to turn out. A malleable MC would mean better immersion for many people, but the game will forever be amazing, whether or not the MC has a malleable personality. NOTHING would change that.
I just hope that people don't get discouraged to express their opinions on the game just because they'd get reprimanded for it. We're all fans, just with different yums. No war, no shaming, only Jayce and P1NK-ANG3L supremacy <3
Thank you! 😄 Not gonna lie, the MC's personality kinda made me lose interest in this game after the demo. I'm a lot more interested now, and not just because I'm a timid and submissive person. I also just appreciate a dev who listens to all players so sincerely. You have my support now! I'll watch this project with interest.
I just wanted to say that I really respect that you want to make a game that everyone can enjoy by catering the MC to a wider audience, but please remember not to stress yourself out trying to make everyone happy - it is literally an impossible task. Please do remember to think about yourself and your own needs too. It would be a shame if the added workload negatively affected your own enjoyment of writing your story.
Basically just trying to offer a friendly reminder to do what's best for you. All the best and I look forward to future updates however they may be!
Thank you for giving us this notice P1NK-ANG3L! You did warn everyone buying the game (on the main page) that it will contain femdom and maledom so it's expected MC would get to be bold. We just haven't experienced the dominant Jayce in her presence so they will most likely balance each other a bit later. As a sub person myself I'm really looking forward to dominant Jayce in the future.
As a consumer it's easy to criticise and forget about all the work needed to be put into the product. It's very kind of you to consider what fans of your work say but also believe in your vision of the work. It's very important for the author to enjoy their own story while they create it to not burn out <3
To me, MC doesn't feel bold or dom, just rude to a person who is clearly struggling. I emphasize to Jayce in the situation where he couldn't say anything because he was so shocked and anxious. MC still can be bold, but not to the point of it sounding rude and not being empathetic to a person who is clearly struggling. It would make the same effect if MC just ignored Jayce. It may not have the same effect as it had in the game, but I still feel like Jayce would obv still question his actions. It's a really cool game, though, and the creator doing a good job, and people not liking the MC doesn't mean the creator did something bad, it just means it was so beautifully written that people are feeling things, which is obv good.
I wouldn't say that MC is purely rude. Don’t get me wrong, I also didn’t like MC’s behavior but she knew Jayce for two days. He was hella rude (from her pov) when they first met and extremely suspicious on the next day. I can see why her walls were up and she was defensive toward him. We accept Jayce’s behavior bc this is what we were expecting from him from the very beginning and were surprised by MC’s personality.
Still I agree, MC’s personality should be toned down bc most players didn’t enjoy it. She can be bold, even rude sometimes, but it needs to be for the right reasons and not out of nowhere. At the end we all want the game to be the best it can be, but this is the author's creation and their decision is last. If they would listen to us - great, if they will continue the way they see it fits the story more - all the power to them.
"MC’s personality should be toned down bc most players didn’t enjoy it" - there's no way to know if this is true. People tend to comment more to complain rather than say "I like that x is like this", so I think the complainers are just vocal rather than necessarily representing a majority. If it was really such a big issue then people wouldn't buy the game at all.
Personally I like the MC so far! She's fun & isn't the typical FMC you usually see in otomes, she helps drive forward the story (several scenes wouldn't have happened at all if her personality wasn't like this), and she keeps Jayce on his toes. I liked that he called her a "handful" lol.
The creator is a solo indie dev, she's making the whole game by herself, so there's a lot of work put into this & it's a passion project. It's unrealistic and unsustainable (and a lot of pressure) to expect her to be able to cater to the audience's every whim, and I'm sure I speak for most people who bought the game that we trust her vision for it. So I hope people can accept her statement made in this post and be patient & wait for the next part of the game. There are so few games like this for a female audience (I don't know any 3D ones), and this one in particular is already so promising, so I really want it to do well.
True! People mostly focus on the negative side and forget about things they enjoyed. I honestly didn't like MC at first but was ok with her later closer to the end of the story we have available. I believe in author and their vision for the game. Customers can say if they didn't like something but I feel like lately all the comments were a bit too rude and it can be very discouraging for a solo dev!
"rude to a person who is clearly struggling" - Jayce has literally been stalking her for a year 😭. I know MC doesn't know that yet, but it's understandable that from her POV his behaviour is off putting and unsettling. Remember this is a man who is a complete stranger to her - he ignores her & doesn't speak to her when they first meet, does that creepy joker smile that freaks her out, he "happens" to turn up at a cafe she's at on her day off DRINKING HER FINISHED DRINK????
